On June 11, an important meeting was held with Nikolai Ivanovich Dorotsky, a representative of the State Service for Emergency Situations and Civil Defense (SSES and Civil Defense). The conversation highlighted key safety issues relevant to everyday life.
1. Safety on water
Nikolai Ivanovich reminded about the rules of behavior on water, especially in the summer period. He emphasized that:
- Swimming should be done only in specially designated places.
- Children should not be left unattended near the water.
- You should not swim beyond the buoys and swim close to ships.
- Alcohol and swimming are incompatible - it is the main cause of tragedies on the water.

3. Rules for using a fire extinguisher
Nikolai Ivanovich also told how to act correctly in case of fire and how to use a fire extinguisher:
- Break the seal and pull the pin.
- Point the nozzle at the fire.
- Press the lever and extinguish the flames from a distance of 2-3 meters.
- Hold the fire extinguisher vertically.
At the end of the meeting, participants asked questions and received handouts with useful information. Such events help to improve safety and prevent emergencies.
