From June 22 to 26, the Zero Injury Week is taking place, aimed at improving the culture of occupational safety, preventing occupational injuries and preserving the health of employees.
The focus of the Zero Injury Week is on the issues of briefing, training and knowledge testing of employees as the most important components of the occupational safety system. These elements are closely related and complement each other, helping to create safe working conditions and prevent accidents in the workplace.
The briefing allows employees to gain the necessary practical knowledge and skills to safely perform their duties. Depending on the purpose of the event, it can be introductory, primary, repeated, unplanned or targeted. Each type of briefing is aimed at ensuring that the employee is aware of the possible risks and knows how to deal with various work situations.
Occupational safety training plays an equally important role. It includes the study of safe working methods, legal requirements, rules for the operation of equipment, as well as the basics of first aid. The acquired knowledge helps employees not only to comply with safety requirements, but also to respond in a timely manner to possible dangerous situations. The knowledge test is the final stage of this system. It allows you to assess the level of training of employees, identify knowledge gaps and ensure that employees are ready to safely perform their professional duties.
The Zero Injury Week reminds us that occupational safety depends on the responsibility of each employee, compliance with established requirements and continuous improvement of knowledge in the field of occupational safety. Only an integrated approach to safety issues makes it possible to create comfortable and safe working conditions for all employees.
