The National Center for Personal Data Protection reminds:
to take photos and videos of citizens WITHOUT the CONSENT of patients, visitors, medical workers and other persons in healthcare organizations FORBIDDEN!
CONSENT can be oral and must be obtained BEFORE SHOOTING from all persons who get into the camera lens.
The lack of consent is a violation of Part 2 of Article 18 of the Law "On Information, Informatization and Information Protection" and entails liability under Article 23.7 of the Code of Administrative Offenses.
What should I do if you are "filmed" without permission?
1. Contact the author of the photo and video with a request to delete the recording or fragments with your image.
2. Inform the officials of the healthcare organization and the administration of the platform on which the video or photo is posted about the violation.
3. If your demands are ignored, contact the National Center for Personal Data Protection or the internal affairs bodies
to bring the guilty person to administrative responsibility.
